Green Legacy consolidates its presence in Spain after PARJAP 2025

Green Legacy presented at PARJAP 2025, its line of hydrogels for gardening and landscaping.

The Austrian company Green Legacy participated for the first time as an exhibitor at the PARJAP 2025 Congress. PARJAP 2025 Congressorganized by the Spanish Association of Public Parks and Gardens (AEPJP), from May 7 to 9 at the Palacio de Ferias, Congresos y Exposiciones in Marbella. The event has been listed as one of the most important meetings in the field of green infrastructure, urban landscaping and sustainable management of public space in Spain.

At a time when cities are seeking to become more resilient, green and sustainable, Green Legacy arrives in the Spanish market with proposals that address two major challenges of the present: the ecological integration of memorial spaces and efficient water management in green areas.

Hydrogels to increase water stress tolerance

In three intense days, Green Legacy presented to the visiting public its line of special Polygrain and Polysorb hydrogels, designed to improve water retention in soils and increase plant tolerance to water stress. This technology is key to preserving vegetation in urban parks and gardens, especially in the face of prolonged periods of drought and irrigation restrictions, something that has had a major impact on the Costa del Sol in recent years.

“Both the conference program and the quality of the public that visited our stand were of great interest to our company. We already have convincing evidence from Spain that shows the great savings in water and fertilizer that our products offer and we have been able to communicate this in this event,” says Enrique Nacif, CEO of Green Legacy.

From their stand, the technicians and sales representatives who were present provided information on their technologies for efficient water management, attracting the interest of municipal technicians, landscapers and urban managers to rethink the future of green areas from a more innovative, ecological and emotionally meaningful approach.

“PARJAP 2025 has been the beginning of a long and interesting path for our company in Spanish gardening and landscaping. Thanks to this, we are already working in the Paque del Retiro in Madrid and coordinating the start of several similar projects throughout the peninsula,” adds Ferran Cabiol Sanz, Green Legacy’s technical-commercial manager in Spain.
