Green Legacy GmbH will present its line of special hydrogels designed to improve water retention in soils and increase plant tolerance to water stress.

The Austrian company Green Legacy GmbH will participate for the first time as an exhibitor at the PARJAP 2025 Congress. PARJAP 2025 Congressorganized by the Spanish Association of Public Parks and Gardens (AEPJP), from May 7 to 9 in Marbella. This event is one of the most important meetings in the field of green infrastructure, urban landscaping and sustainable management of public space in Spain.

At a time when cities are seeking to become more resilient, green and sustainable, Green Legacy comes with proposals that address two major challenges of the present: the ecological integration of memorial spaces and efficient water management in green areas.

Hydrogels to increase water stress tolerance

Green Legacy GmbH will present its line of special Polygrain and Polysorb hydrogels, designed to improve water retention in soils and increase plant tolerance to water stress. This technology is key to preserving vegetation in urban parks and gardens, especially in the face of prolonged periods of drought and irrigation restrictions, something that has had a major impact on the Costa del Sol in recent years.

“We want to show how our solutions not only bring sustainability and respect for the environment, but also efficiency in the management of resources such as water. Contributing to the maintenance of healthy green spaces in increasingly dry cities is one of our key objectives,” emphasizes Enrique Nacif, CEO of Green Legacy GmbH.
