Sustainable urban greening is becoming increasingly important in many European cities – including in the Czech Republic. In the municipality of Mořice, north-east of Brno in the Olomouc region, a joint project is being launched that focuses on climate-resilient solutions for urban areas.
Under the leadership of Tomas Pavelka, the youngest mayor in the Czech Republic, innovative measures are being implemented to strengthen urban trees in the long term and adapt them to the climatic challenges. The water-retaining granulates Polygrain and Polysorb are being used. These technologies improve the water supply, support root growth and contribute to sustainable greening.
An important step towards making cities even more resilient and greener.
