Sustainable post-inoculation in the vineyard with Polysorb

An innovative technique was used to inoculate vines in the vineyard of the Scheiblhofer winery. A modern granulate spreader from Sorger Weintechnik was used in combination with a specially equipped soil tillage device.

Polysorb, a biodegradable water reservoir, was specifically applied to the root area of the vines. Polysorb can store many times its own weight in water and is effective for several years. This helps the vines to better withstand drought stress, improve nutrient uptake and sustainably strengthen the soil structure.
