On July 28, 2025, a practical demonstration day on the application of our water-retaining hydrogels took place at the sports field in Guntersdorf. Numerous trade visitors from Austria, Germany, Luxembourg and Hungary took the opportunity to find out about the benefits of sustainable turf care with Polygrain and PolYSORB.
Particular interest was shown in the process presented for mechanically “inoculating” existing turf areas with Polysorb granules. This technology was presented by a German machine manufacturer, who gave an impressive demonstration of how existing areas can be retrofitted efficiently and comprehensively – ideal in particular for golf courses and soccer pitches with high water requirements.
Many thanks to the Lagerhaus Technik-Center in Herzogenburg, which provided the necessary machinery for the demo trial. Among the guests were the managing director of the Stark company from Tulln and the president of the Austrian Greenkeeper Association – both actively participated in the professional exchange and asked numerous questions.
The event impressively demonstrated that the targeted use of water-retaining granules offers a forward-looking solution for climate-resilient lawn care – with less watering, healthier plant growth and lower operating costs.
