While the Easter holidays are still lingering in many places, our team was already back in full swing yesterday: in persistent rain, we planted a total of 230 trees – sessile oak, larch and Douglas fir – in a new area in Hollabrunn (Lower Austria).
This area is not a classic test field – the effectiveness of Polygrain and Polysorb has long been confirmed by scientific studies and numerous practical applications by our customers. Our aim is to create a clear demonstration area: A place where interested parties and customers can see the effect of our products with their own eyes – in a practical comparison between Polygrain, Polysorb (each in different dosages) and a control group without granules.
POLYGRAIN – the all-in-one solution
Stores up to 200 times its own weight in water and also contains a starter fertilizer and a biological component for a short and long-term effect of over three years.
POLYSORB – the pure superabsorber
Stores more than 300 times its weight in water – without additional ingredients with an impressive storage capacity.
Yesterday’s weather was a real stroke of luck: the persistent rain ensures that the granules swell optimally after being placed in the soil and can start storing water immediately.
They were fully committed: Fabian Schlögelhofer (Production Manager), Manuel Proksch (Internal Sales), Alexander Otte (Quality Management), Alexander Rausch (Sales) and our two Managing Directors Rudolf Bauer and Enrique Nacif, who personally lent a hand and diligently planted trees.
Many thanks to everyone involved for this great effort in the rain! 💪🌱
We are already looking forward to showing in the coming months how clearly the differences in the development of the trees can be made visible – without any theory, directly in practice.
