Green Legacy receives CE certification for Polygrain – the next step for our growth in Europe

We have reached another milestone:
Our water-retaining granulate Polygrain is now CE-certified. This means that the product meets all European requirements for safety, quality and environmental compatibility – and the way is clear for use throughout the EU.

For us, this is an important step in our internationalization strategy. The CE marking facilitates market access, creates trust with sales partners and public clients and confirms the tested product quality for all users.

Polygrain was developed to meet the challenges of climate change. It stores water directly in the root zone, improves the growth rate, extends irrigation intervals and reduces maintenance and operating costs in the long term. It is already being used successfully in forestry, viticulture and fruit growing as well as in urban green spaces – wherever drought stress has become a key issue.

“CE certification is the logical consequence of our international growth strategy. Our goal is to scale up sustainable solutions for resilient plantations and efficient water management across Europe together with strong partners,” says Antonio de Vall, CEO of Green Legacy.

At the same time, we have also legally protected our brands: The newly registered word/figurative marks ensure a clear, recognizable presence and strengthen our position on the international market.

With these steps, we are bringing ecological innovations from Austria further into the world – and making a concrete contribution to climate change adaptation in agriculture and forestry as well as in municipal green space management.
