Prominent guests included event organizer Arnold Schwarzenegger, former U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris, and Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen. Numerous international decision-makers, business leaders, and experts were also in attendance.
Instead of theoretical discussions, the focus was on one thing above all else: implementation. How can existing solutions be put into practice more quickly? How can innovations be scaled up? And how can the business community, policymakers, and society work together to implement effective measures?
For Green Legacy, the event offered numerous exciting insights and interesting discussions. It became particularly clear that issues such as water availability, soil health, and climate adaptation are becoming increasingly important. While energy and emissions are frequently discussed, questions regarding the resilience of our landscapes and ecosystems also came more into focus.
Arnold Schwarzenegger summed up this approach perfectly:
“Stop looking for excuses and start doing something.”
This very idea ran through many of the day’s posts: The focus isn’t on the challenges, but on the solutions.
