The Pernerstorfer tree nursery, which was founded in 1931 by Johann Pernerstorfer senior, has always established itself as a regional business with the highest quality standards and a wide variety of plants. On an area of over 7 hectares in Gföhl, in the beautiful Waldviertel, the company passionately produces a wide range of plants: fruit trees, berry bushes, roses, ornamental trees, hedge plants, ornamental and flowering shrubs, insect and bird food shrubs, climbing plants, conifers, herbs, grasses and perennials. Since January 2022, the nursery has been run by Andrea Meixner, a long-standing employee and master gardener, together with her husband Robert Meixner. With in-depth expertise and great commitment, the entire team is available to customers – as usual – for advice, recommendations and the realization of individual garden dreams. The Pernerstorfer nursery is now going one step further in the direction of sustainability. With the introduction of Polysorb, a water-retaining granulate from Green Legacy, the water storage capacity of the soil is improved, reducing water requirements and promoting plant growth. In this way, Pernerstorfer combines tradition with innovative and environmentally friendly solutions for a greener future.
