German Arboriculture Days 2026
The tree care industry will be meeting in Augsburg from May 5 to 7, 2026 – and we will be there with our own stand.
The German Tree Care Days are regarded as the leading specialist event in the field of tree care and have been building a practical bridge between research, regulations and daily application for years. Over three intensive days, experts from science, local authorities, planning, implementation and training come together to discuss current developments and develop solutions for the challenges of urban tree locations.
Specialist focus 2026
- The program offers a dense and top-class range of lectures – among others on:
- Regulations and tree planting (including new ZTV planting work, FLL recommendations)
- Tree locations in urban areas and rainwater management (Sponge City 2.0)
- Tree pit substrates, root chamber systems and field trials
- Irrigation, planting and tree protection in streets and avenues
- International models, such as tree planting according to the Stockholm model
Prof. Dr. Dirk Dujesiefken (Institute of Arboriculture, Hamburg) will be the technical moderator. The lecture program will be supplemented by discussion rounds and current research insights.
Climbing forum & practice
Parallel to the symposium, the Climbing Forum offers a separate, international program for arborists and rope climbers – with practical presentations, live demonstrations and discussions on safety, technology and skills development.
Tree care fair
Around 150 exhibitors will also be presenting their products, innovations and services. New in 2026: a dedicated Hall 3 – Education and Research, which will focus even more strongly on knowledge transfer.
